Juniper Class were very excited about our class assembly on Friday. We started our assembly by singing one of our favourite songs about Friendship. It reminds us how important it is to be a good friend to others. We then shared our New Barn Memories – we were proud that each one of us were brave enough to speak in front of the adults who came along to see us. The parents enjoyed looking at our New Barn work and our pottery. It was a great celebration of our time in year 5 so far.
What a fantastic start to Year 5! Our residential trip to New Barn was an exciting, fun and memorable time. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other in our new class and learn to work together as a clan. Juniper especially enjoyed the shelter building and bushcraft activities. We learnt about Saxon and Viking living; had a go at pottery and studied the local river and village close to New Barn. Although tiring we all enjoyed ourselves and had the courage to perform in the talent show at the end of the week. Please see the photos below:
